Audience Acquisition Executive – Internship

An excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to gain valuable hands-on experience from working on a number of high-profile events attended by senior representatives of regional governments, UN agencies, international and regional NGOs, investors and donors, research institutes and solution providers. A key part of this role will involve researching and forging relationships with high-level stakeholders across multiple mediums including telephone and written communication.

The position is best suited to a self-motivated and confident individual who is passionate about the subject of sustainability, enjoys working as part of a team, solution-driven and works well under pressure with creative and proactive attitude.

You will need excellent communication skills, telephone etiquette, written and verbal, and an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines. You will need to have a proven track record of producing high quality work and display outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Research, Identify and engage with select community groups via telephone and online
  • Assist with delegate management from registration to attendance
  • Assist with onboarding for high level stakeholders onto relevant event apps to maximise networking opportunities
  • Assist with onsite registration of key stakeholders
  • Actively form and nurture good relationships within the climate change policy community
  • Attend relevant industry events (where necessary)
  • Monitor and respond to delegate communications and enquiries
  • Work with the production team to understand key objectives and USPs and communicate these to stakeholders
  • Assist with creating report on audience acquisition campaigns
  • Update and maintain accurate and detailed records of stakeholders
