Audience Acquisition Executive

We are currently recruiting for an Audience Acquisition Executive to join the Climate Action team.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic new team member to lead and own delegate acquisition in the sustainable finance and investment community, across our portfolio of events. A key part of this role involves identifying opportunities to grow our sustainable finance and investment community and continue to engage with our network of 120K+ sustainability professionals.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship build skills and ideally have some practical experience of digital and social media marketing. A passion for research and strong administration skills are required along with an interest in sustainable investment and environmental governance would also be a major advantage.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working on a number of high-profile events attended by senior representatives of regional governments, UN agencies, international and regional NGOs, investors and donors, research institutes and solution providers.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Identifying sources of stakeholders within the sustainable finance and investment community both online and offline
  • Grow engagement rates across the Climate Action platforms and events
  • Develop and implement direct marketing campaigns
  • Oversee delegate management from interest to attendance
  • Manage onboarding for high level stakeholders onto relevant event apps to maximise networking opportunities
  • Manage onsite registration of key stakeholders
  • Actively form and nurture good relationships within the sustainable finance and investment community
  • Attend relevant industry events and network with potential partners and delegates
  • Monitor and respond to delegate communications and queries
  • Work with the production team to understand key objectives and USPs and communicate these to stakeholders
  • Regular reporting on performance of campaigns
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of stakeholders
  • Work with sales team to connect partners with investors
  • Onsite assistance with Managed Introductions service

The successful applicant will have/will be:

  • Knowledge of sustainable finance and investment
  • Audience Acquisition or Delegate Sales experience
  • Highly motivated with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Good communication & organisation skills
  • Passion for sustainability
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and LinkedIn
  • Proficient CRM skills
  • Knowledge of Eventbrite and other event registration platforms (desirable but not essential)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Confident communications and influencing skills especially on the telephone
  • Self-starter that can work independently and as part of a tea
