Climate Action is committed to facilitating the transition to a net zero, just and sustainable world.

About us

Established in 2007 and headquartered in London, Climate Action’s mission is to facilitate collaboration to encourage the development, deployment and accelerated uptake of globally sustainable, net zero solutions.

Our passionate team, led by founder Nick Henry, understands the critical role of business and finance in the transition to a net zero, just and sustainable world. That’s why our industry-leading media and event platforms help forge public-private-partnerships, bringing together CEOs, CSOs investors, politicians and city leaders to scale impact and deliver real change on the ground.

A trusted partner

We work with some of the most influential, respected and ambitious organisations to create and deliver high impact forums, digital content and the www.climateaction.org platform. From UN Agencies to FMCG brands, we are proud that our partners and clients choose to work with us year-on-year.

For our partners and supporters we help engage the private sector, bringing innovations, technologies and finance to the table. For our clients we help generate profitable business opportunities and partnerships, providing top-level access to markets and enabling them to demonstrate their commitment to global sustainability.

Our global events

Climate Action runs a series of high-quality, impactful events both online and in person connecting the real economy and policy makers to unlock inclusive, sustainable growth.

The largest multi-stakeholder forum at the annual COP meetings, connecting the real economy with policy makers at UN Climate Change Negotiations since 2010.

The flagship event of London Climate Action Week, run in partnership with the UK Government to connect leaders in business, policy and finance to drive net zero innovation.

Industry-leading finance and investment events in America and Europe, run in partnership with UNEP FI, to accelerate a sustainable, equitable and net zero global economy.

A series of hybrid and virtual events bringing together key stakeholders driving sustainable and net-zero transitions across Hydrogen, Agriculture, Industry, Transport and Energy.

At the heart of COP

Climate Action has been a part of the official side-event programme hosted by the COP Presidents and UNFCCC since COP16 in Cancun through our Sustainable Innovation Forum.

In 2021 we launched the inaugural Innovation Zone at COP26 in Glasgow. Building on its success, we are delighted to be running a 6000m2 Climate Action Innovation Zone alongside COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh for mission-led organisations wanting to drive forward the innovation agenda at COP.

A positive impact pioneer

Climate Action is delighted to be the first global event organiser to trailblaze assessing the positive impact of our events.

Working with Mission Innovation’s Net-Zero Compatibility Initiative, we’ll be assessing how our events can best enable climate action by facilitating collaboration and encouraging the development, deployment and accelerated uptake of globally sustainable net zero solutions.

More details will be announced in the lead up to COP27.
