Paid Internships at Climate Action

Supporting the critical role of youth in addressing global challenges Climate Action have several Paid Internships available for undergraduates and graduates passionate about climate change or sustainability within the following departments:

Programme Research & Development
Marketing and Communications
Audience and Stakeholder Engagement
Event Management and Operations

The opportunities are full time, working 5 days a week: 3 days in our office in Victoria, London and 2 days from home with an immediate start date.

We are looking for interns for a minimum of 3 months, with the opportunity for rising stars to join the Climate Action team as full time employees, after the internship. These internships are a great way to gain hands on experience within the climate change policy, sustainable finance and event management and purpose marketing.

Our Internships are currently available to applicants who meet the following criteria:

London based within a commutable distance from our offices in Victoria
Available to come into the office 3 days a week minimum
Legally authorised to work full time within the UK
Available for the duration of 3 months minimum

At this time we are unable to offer internships to those on a student visa.

Who we're looking for

Educated to or actively working towards a degree level (preferably in sustainability, or a related subject)
Confident communications and influencing skills especially on the telephone
Excellent telephone etiquette, oral and written communication skills
Strong interest and/or understanding of climate change and sustainability
Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to build relationships
Flexible team player, with ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
Office experience and sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Positive work ethic, can-do attitude, and plenty of initiative and willingness to learn
Proven ability to work well in a team but also initiative to work on your own
